The counterpart to Virginia CLE®’s popular Rocket Docket program, here focusing on the Western District.
This seminar is a must-attend event for any attorney practicing before the federal courts in the Western District of Virginia. At this program, experienced litigators and the judges who try your cases will discuss all relevant aspects of federal trial practice. The rules and procedures unique to the Western District will be clearly highlighted—the aspects that insiders know and follow and that outsiders ignore at their peril. Throughout the seminar, panelists will offer insight and practice tips to help you achieve the optimal outcome for your clients.
Both experienced and new attorneys will benefit from the opportunity to explore the most successful strategies for trying cases in these courts. Ask any of your colleagues who practice in the Western District: it is too late to learn the court’s rules once your case starts—you have to know them now. Don’t miss this opportunity—it will be a morning well spent!
BONUS! Regular registration includes the e-book version of the Virginia CLE® handbook Federal Civil Practice in Virginia (2023 edition). If you already own the handbook and don’t want to receive the e-book version, you may register at a discounted rate. Combining the outstanding written materials used in previous seminars devoted to practice in the Eastern District and Western District into a single useful reference, Federal Civil Practice in Virginia is the go-to book for every attorney appearing in Virginia’s federal courts.
