The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) and Other Advances in Pregnancy Rights (From Annual Employment Law Update Seminar 2023)

This session examines the PWFA as it goes into effect on June 27, 2023, along with recent extension of pregnancy protections encompassed in the Virginia Values Act. The presenters also consider how the courts have interpreted the 2015 Supreme Court decision in Young v. United Parcel Service.
