Faculty

FACULTY

Larry Pozner
, L S Pozner, PLLC / Denver, CO

Larry Pozner is America’s recognized authority on advanced cross-examination techniques. His innovative and entertaining program explains how, in cross-examinations, we can use principles of neuroscience and behavioral psychology to win cases. Techniques are explained in a step-by step fashion with examples.

His book Cross-Examination: Science and Techniques (Lexis 3rd edition 2016, by Pozner and Dodd) modernized our profession’s view of the purposes and methods of modern cross.  For more than 25 years, this has been America’s bestselling book on cross.

Mr. Pozner began his career in the Colorado Public Defender system.  He founded a premier criminal defense firm, and then a firm handling both plaintiff and defense sides of complex civil matters as well as criminal defense of all manner of offenses. For many years, he represented the Denver Broncos franchise in trials including the lawsuit challenging Pat Bowlen’s purchase of the team.  He won, which is why he could remain in Colorado. Mr. Pozner is a past-president of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.  He is listed in Best Lawyers in America for Bet-the-Company litigation, and in Criminal Defense, both White Collar and Non-White Collar crimes.
