Information

Why Attend?

  • Listen in on a lively discussion about issues of ethics in family law cases.
  • Understand the concerns and guiding principles on scenarios that can and actually have happened in the day-to-day practice of family law.
  • Hear the opinions of two experienced practitioners, Daniel Gray and David Masterman, on how to navigate thorny ethical issues created by overzealous clients.
  • Ask questions of and get answers from the speakers.
  • Obtain Ethics credit from a light-hearted presentation

A replay of a session originally presented at the 38th Annual Advanced Family Law Seminar in May 2022, this program offers an opportunity for Q&A with the speakers and qualifies for live-interactive MCLE credit.

Family law attorneys often encounter tough ethical issues while representing their clients. Sometimes the issue is caused by the client. Other times, the issue is the client. But no matter where the problem arises, the decision on how to do the right thing falls to the attorney. Learn to recognize, analyze, and navigate the ethical pitfalls these dilemmas create.
