David L. Ginsberg, Cooper Ginsberg Gray, PLLC / Fairfax
David Ginsberg is a partner at Cooper Ginsberg Gray in Fairfax. The firm is dedicated to helping clients address family law issues involving: divorce, support, property division, negotiated settlements, mediation, prenuptial agreements, appeals, custody, child support, and parenting.
Mr. Ginsberg’s practice emphasizes cases in which settlement is the goal whether through negotiation, mediation, collaboration, or arbitration. He is collaboratively trained, and in addition to representing clients, he serves as a mediator.
Mr. Ginsberg enjoys cases that involve complex financial issues and has extensive experience working on cases, involving closely held businesses, high-income earners, pensions, complex compensation and retirement packages, tracing separate and premarital property, and exotic financial instruments and securities.
Mr. Ginsberg is an adjunct professor at the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, and teaches Law Practice Management. He co-authored “How Successful Law Firms Really Work,” and in addition, he lectures to other family law attorneys on topics such as spousal support, and to students on alternative dispute resolution techniques.
Mr. Ginsberg is a 1996 graduate from Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University. Prior to earning his law degree, he received a Bachelor of Science in Commerce (Finance and Marketing) from University of Virginia in 1992.
Mr. Ginsberg has been recognized in the Washingtonian magazine, Northern Virginia magazine, and Arlington magazine as one of the area’s top divorce lawyers, and as one of Virginia Business’ Legal Elite. He carries the “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating for skill and ethics.
Michelle M. Kaminsky, Hite Kaminsky Family Law & Mediation, PLLC / Fairfax
Michelle Kaminsky joined Hite Kaminsky Family Law & Mediation, PLLC (formerly the Law Offices of Kelly S. Hite) in 2010 and became a partner in 2015. Previously, she served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable David S. Schell of the Fairfax County Circuit Court.
Ms. Kaminsky practices family law in the Northern Virginia area, assisting clients with divorce, child custody and visitation, grandparent/third party custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, settlement negotiations, premarital agreements, enforcement issues, and adoption.
Ms. Kaminsky has served on the Fairfax Bar Association Circuit Court Committee, the Fairfax Bar Association Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court Committee (Co-Chair from 2017 to 2018), and she has been the judicial chair for the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Virginia Women Attorneys Association for the past three years. As the judicial chair, she has overseen judicial committee screening panels to evaluate candidates for vacancies on courts in various jurisdictions throughout Northern Virginia.
Ms. Kaminsky has also lectured on the topic of settlement considerations in the context of custody and visitation for the Northern Virginia Pro Bono Law Center.
Ms. Kaminsky has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, and she has been listed as a Top Lawyer in Northern Virginia magazine since 2019.
Ms. Kaminsky is a native of Tucson, Arizona, where she received her B.A. from the University of Arizona. Prior to law school, she was an Academic Advisor and high school English teacher. Ms. Kaminsky received her J.D. in 2009 from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University of America.
