The ONLINE CLE PROGRAM

Dealing with Lack of Capacity in Clients and Lawyers (Ethics), featuring Virginia H. Grigg

As the population ages, attorneys will find themselves dealing with more situations in which a client may be impaired or lack capacity. Attorneys may also have to address issues involving other attorneys in their firms that may not be competent to continue to practice law. Originally presented as a session at the 2018 Annual Trusts and Estates Seminar, this program addresses the various ethical rules and opinions that attorneys can rely upon in dealing with these situations.

THE ONLINE CONCERT

Brett James has had more than 500 of his songs recorded by some of the biggest artists in the world. His songs have appeared on albums with combined sales of over 110 million copies. He has had numerous hit singles including 25 #1s and won a Grammy in 2006 for “Jesus, Take the Wheel.” He was named ASCAP's Country Songwriter of the Year in 2006 and 2010 and Music Row Magazine’s Songwriter of the Year in 2015. He has received more than 40 ASCAP hit song awards in country, pop, Latin, and Christian genres. In 2020 he was elected into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.

As a producer his credits include Taylor Swift, Jessica Simpson, Danielle Bradberry, and Kip Moore.

Brett is currently in his 17th year of service on the board of directors of the Country Music Association, has served as a national trustee of The Recording Academy (Grammys), and he also serves on the board of the Nashville Songwriters Association International.
