A pre-recorded streaming VIDEO replay of one session from the October 2020 seminar, DUI Defense in Virginia program.
General District Courts are the highest volume Courts in the Commonwealth. This is especially true of the traffic divisions. Although the offenses charged and considered in the various jurisdictions are the same, application of the law and outcomes often differ from judge to judge and, certainly, from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Current General District Judges from throughout the Commonwealth agreed to serve as panelists for this session. This portion of the Seminar is designed to have an open dialogue between the judges and lawyers who appear before them. We explore unique issues for the specific Court and how things may differ geographically, by Court size and from jurist to jurist.
