James P. Cox, III, is a member of the firm MichieHamlett. His areas of practice include estate planning and administration, real estate, and litigation and court proceedings relating to estate matters. He is a member of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a Virginia Law Fellow, and a Committee member of Virginia CLE®. He is the author of the annual supplements to the two-volume treatise Harrison on Wills and Administration in Virginia and West Virginia, published by LexisNexis, and the editor and contributing author to the Virginia CLE® publication Estate and Trust Administration in Virginia.
