Why Attend?
Topics to be covered this year include:
- A summarization of recent case law and trends in litigation specific to government contractors
- A discussion of issues raised by the COVID-19 pandemic on federal government contracting, including COVID-19–related FAR Class Deviations and waivers, the effect of COVID-19 on contract provisions including excusable delays clauses, and best practices for contractors to be compensated for impacts arising from the COVID-19 pandemic
- A “top ten” list of issues facing attorneys who advise small business government contractors, including NAICS Code determinations, limitations on subcontracting, the "non-manufacturer rule," and size standards appeals; issues raised will include items specific to both non-construction and construction small businesses
A specially designed annual program, cosponsored with the Construction Law and Public Contracts Section of the Virginia State Bar, designed to meet the requests from practitioners for quality programming in the field of federal government contracting
While COVID-19 concerns are preventing this program from occurring live on site this year, the planning committee has worked hard to offer you the same high-quality instructional content through a remotely delivered option still providing live-interactive credit.
