Information

A pre-recorded streaming VIDEO replay of the April 2019 live seminar, The Articulate Attorney®: Public Speaking for Lawyers.

Using cutting edge research in linguistics, gestures studies, and sports psychology, the purpose of this course is to give viewers a practical, immediately useful technique for public speaking in all settings. The program gives you the performance skills you need to get the job done with confidence—whether you are sitting or standing, addressing a small group or a large audience. To do that, you need a solid technique and the chance to practice. This program does both: Learn the techniques, and then practice integrating them into your own personal style.

You will learn:

  • How to channel your body’s nervous energy into dynamic delivery
  • What to do with your hands and gestures in order to grab and hold your listeners’ attention
  • How to eliminate annoying filler words like um and like
  • How to “structure your improvisation,” rather than read a script (so boring) or recite from memory (so risky)

Seminar Materials: All registrants will receive an electronic copy of The Articulate Attorney: Public Speaking for Lawyers (2nd Edition), by Brian K. Johnson and Marsha Hunter (a $24.99 value), as the seminar materials.
