Mark J. Nelson, Virginia Wills, Trusts & Estates PLC / Charlottesville

Mark J. Nelson recently joined his former colleague and longtime friend, Tom Nolan, at Virginia Wills, Trusts & Estates, PLC. He is a CPA, a divinity school graduate, and an alumnus of the University of Virginia School of Law. After law school, he served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Ralph Nimmons of U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and then returned to Charlottesville in 1994 to practice law. The primary focus of his practice is wills, trusts, and estates, but he also has a robust background in business, tax, and franchise law. He is admitted to practice law in Virginia and Florida and before the U.S. Tax Court.

Neil L. Rose, Willcox & Savage, PC / Virginia Beach

Neil Rose is a former IRS and Treasury Special Honors Attorney. He has over twenty-five years’ experience in the areas of federal and local taxation, estate planning and administration, real estate, and corporate law. He has lectured on corporate tax, real estate tax, Virginia sales and use tax, estate planning, elder law, pension tax, tax exempt organizations, and limited liability company issues for the Tax Section of the American Bar Association, Virginia State Bar, ODU Tax Conference, the Virginia Society of CPAs, and Virginia CLE.
