Professional communication involves more than just communication with the client. Attorneys employed by large organizations may also have responsibilities to superiors or subordinates in rank while maintaining client confidences. Attorneys may also be overwhelmed by the information received from clients or other sources. This presentation discusses the various Rules of Professional Responsibility implicated, and includes suggestions for improving efficiency of communication and controlling the flow of incoming information.
