Information

A pre-recorded streaming VIDEO replay of one session from the April 2019 live seminar, 35th Annual Advanced Family Law.

Cosponsored with the Family Law Section of the Virginia State Bar

An examination of the ethical rules that are not necessarily in the forefront of the average practitioner’s mind such as “Candor Toward the Tribunal,” “Fairness to Opposing Party and Counsel,” and the dreaded “Reporting Misconduct” and catch-all “misconduct” Rules, 8.3 and 8.4. This session will examine the idea that strict loyalty to these somewhat forgotten rules may be the key to increased collegiality and greater job satisfaction among family law attorneys.
