More CME Information

You owe it to your clients to steer the dynamics of mediation to their benefit. If you thoughtfully answer the seven questions presented in this seminar, you will be ready to do just that. Exploring these questions with your client, the mediator, and opposing counsel will provide you with the tools to enhance your control of the mediation process, your bargaining outcome, and your client’s satisfaction.

This lecture/discussion style seminar will introduce the most common types of mediation and the techniques mediators use for each. You will learn how to understand and explain to your client the value of their case. You will explore the role of relationships, values, feelings, needs and expectations. The focus of this program will be on the importance of expectations and on how to change the other side’s expectations in mediation. By analyzing these seven questions, you will discover how to maximize your awareness of your client’s situation and the client’s real choices.
