As our aging population continues to grow, so does the potential for physical and financial exploitation of our most vulnerable citizens. What can we, as practitioners, do to protect our seniors? In this presentation, you will gain an understanding of the common victim profile as well as the warning signs of abuse from real-world examples; you will learn about what the federal and state governments are doing to help combat this problem; and what you can do if you notice the warning signs, from making sure your clients have the right legal documents in place to recommending support groups and other resources.
