This course was specially designed to meet the requests from practitioners for quality programming in the field of federal government contracting. Now in its third year, this four-hour seminar, taught by experienced practitioners, focuses on tools for pursuit and payment.
Topics covered this year include:
- An overview of the various small business contracting programs, including the basic requirements for each program and recent regulatory changes
- A session on how to effectively use teaming agreements and joint venture agreements in the pursuit of government contracting
- A presentation on bid protests, from the perspectives of both the Government and contractors
- A discussion about considerations contractors must bear in mind when preparing requests for equitable adjustments and claims under federal contracts
