David L. Ginsberg, Cooper Ginsberg Gray / Fairfax
David Ginsberg is a founding member of Cooper Ginsberg Gray. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia in 1992, and earned his law degree from George Mason School of Law in 1996.
Mr. Ginsberg has been recognized as a top divorce lawyer by Washingtonian and Northern Virginia magazines, and by Best Lawyers in America. He has earned an AV (peer review) rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is an experienced litigator, and has handled complex equitable distribution, custody, and support cases. Mr. Ginsberg has written briefs and presented oral argument to the Virginia Court of Appeals on issues such as child support, attorney sanctions, and discovery. He has authored articles for publication in the Family Law News and Virginia Trial Lawyers Journal, and has presented seminars on spousal support and tracing.
Mr. Ginsberg serves as a board member for Shelter House, and previously served as a board member of the Fairfax Law Foundation, past-president of the George Mason School of Law Alumni Association Board, and chair of the Fairfax Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Committee. He was honored with the Fairfax Law Foundation’s Humanitarian of the Year Award and the Fairfax Bar Association President's Award. He is also a member of the Collaborative Professionals of Northern Virginia, Virginia State Bar, Fairfax Bar Association, and American Bar Association. Mr. Ginsberg is also an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University School of Law.
Kelly S. Hite, Hite Kaminsky Family Law & Mediation, PLLC / Fairfax
Kelly Sweeney Hite is the founder and managing partner of Hite Kaminsky Family Law & Mediation, PLLC. Licensed to practice law 27 years ago, Ms. Hite has practiced family exclusively since 1994, handling all types of family law matters throughout Northern Virginia, such as child custody, equitable distribution, spousal support, modification and enforcement issues, and settlement negotiations.
Ms. Hite is currently a member of the Fairfax Bar Association, the Virginia Women Attorneys Association, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and was appointed to serve on the Virginia State Bar Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Course Faculty for a three-year term commencing in October 2016. She has lectured on various topics for the Fairfax Bar Association and for the Virginia State Bar ranging from ethics to spousal support to contested child custody matters. Ms. Hite previously served on the Fairfax Bar Association Board of Directors (2007–2010), as co-chair of the Fairfax Bar Association Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court committee (2004–2006), as president of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Virginia Women Attorneys Association (2002–2003), and as the Chair of the Family Law Section of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (2002–2003). Ms. Hite served as a substitute judge in the Fairfax County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court from 2008–2014. She has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America since 2013, Super Lawyers since 2012, and has been AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell since 2005. Ms. Hite was named in Northern Virginia magazine’s Top Lawyers for Family Law in 2011 and as one of Northern Virginia magazine’s Top 30 Divorce Lawyers in 2009.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Hite is a trained mediator, having completed the required coursework through the Northern Virginia Mediation Service and receiving her certification for Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court Mediation in 2014. Ms. Hite has utilized these same skills for many years informally as a neutral case evaluator appointed by the Fairfax County Circuit Court and as a conciliator appointed by the Fairfax County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court. She has also been trained in collaborative law since 2009 and is a member of the Collaborative Professionals of Northern Virginia and the Virginia Collaborative Professionals.
Ms. Hite received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech with a double major in English and Political Science, and graduated from the University of Richmond, T.C. Williams School of Law in 1990.
