Information

A pre-recorded streaming VIDEO replay of one session from the May 2017 live seminar, Spring 2017 Military Law.

Cosponsored with the Military Law Section of the Virginia State Bar

The session covers the capacities in which civilian counsel can represent service members before military courts and administrative boards. This topic includes representation at courts-martial, criminal appeals, and some of the more common administrative legal actions service members face. The session also focuses specifically on how civilian attorneys fit into this area of practice that is predominantly litigated by Judge Advocates, and the benefits of a civilian perspective.
