Stephen A. Mutnick, Winslow & McCurry, PLLC / Midlothian
Steve Mutnick practices primarily in the areas of criminal, traffic and domestic relations law. In 2014, Steve was one of two lawyers statewide named as a Super Lawyers: Rising Star in the Defense of DUI/DWI cases. Steve regularly defends those accused of crimes around central Virginia, and is certified as court appointed counsel for misdemeanors, juveniles, and felony cases and as a Guardian Ad Litem for juveniles. Steve is currently a faculty member at the Virginia CLE Defense of Serious Traffic Cases and DUI Defense seminars where he instructs other lawyers on how to practice in DUI, hit and run, reckless driving and other cases, and has taught at the Commonwealth Attorney’s Services Council Spring Institute, the Virginia State Police Academy and the Henrico Police Academy. Steve joined private practice in 2013 after serving as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for five and one half years. He was an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Loudoun County for two years, before serving as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Henrico County. As an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney, Steve prosecuted every type of case, with a focus on serious traffic cases, DUI, DUI-Drug/Blood Draw cases and traffic fatality cases. Born and raised in Burke, Virginia, Steve attended the College of William and Mary with a major in Public Policy. After college, he attended the TC Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. While at Richmond, he was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board, Moot Court Team and the Journal of Law and Public Interest. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Trial Advocacy Award from the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.

Jon Huddleston is a principal with Sevila, Saunders, Huddleston & White, P.C. where he has practiced since his admission to the Bar in 1986. He served as the 71st President of Virginia State Bar in 2009-10. Mr. Huddleston's practice area includes all facets of Family Law as well as defense of driving under the influence and serious traffic offenses. He has been a frequent lecturer for Virginia Continuing Legal Education on defense of traffic offenses and is a co-author of the Virginia CLE publication Defense of Serious Traffic Cases in Virginia.
