Megan Caramore concentrates her practice in FELA, litigation, and insurance defense. She hasexperience handling a wide variety of litigation including construction, immigration, and workers’ compensation.

Ms. Caramore has argued before the Virginia Supreme Court and regularly handles cases in federal and state courts, at both the trial and appellate levels.  Additionally, she has successfully handled matters before the Board of Immigration Appeals and Immigration Courts in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

Mara Mijal concentrates her law practice in immigration matters.  She advises companies and individuals on all aspects of immigration strategy for temporary employment and permanent residence options in the United States.  She also assists employers with compliance with the employer sanction provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act, including counsel on the implementation of the I-9 form and avoiding civil and criminal fines and penalties under the Act.
