Information

A pre-recorded streaming VIDEO replay of one session from the May 2014 live seminar, The Douglas W. Conner Annual Advanced Estate Planning and Administration Seminar.

A sale event presents one of the few opportunities in a business owner’s lifetime to make a significant transfer of wealth and provides the planner an opportunity to deliver significant value to the client. This presentation will focus on planning opportunities and pitfalls that should be considered when working with a business owner in advance of a liquidity event, during the liquidity event, and after the “deal is done.” It will consider strategies to maximize wealth transfer, mitigate valuation risks, and minimize both income and wealth transfer taxes.
