A pre-recorded streaming VIDEO replay of the entire May 2014 live seminar, Advanced Witness Preparation: Spotting, Diagnosing, and Solving Witness Problems, Issues, and Challenges.

You will:

  • Learn how to turn nightmarish witnesses into stars, no matter what the problem
  • Discover how to identify individual learning styles of witnesses and react with an appropriate communication model
  • Explore "form" of depositions and trial, and how to identify, assess, and solve witness "symptoms" in both
  • Learn how to maximize your own performance by maximizing that of your witness
  • Learn how to work with novice experts as well as those who have been in court more often than you!

Some attorneys who have taken this course have suggested we call it: "You Don't Even Know What You Don't Know, and Why What You Don't Know Can Kill Your Witness". Others call it "How to Turn Your Problem Witnesses into Stars".

Whatever one calls it, this four-hour seminar as taught by our remarkably accomplished and engaging faculty is among the most helpful witness preparation workshops an attorney can take. By including lecture and participatory exercises, this unique program helps you combine the skills of the litigator, the psychologist, the educator, and, of course, the theater artist — skills that all attorneys must have in order to be successful with each witness.

The first session focuses on learning skills from disciplines in which most attorneys have little or no experience: skills that are applied to the task of witness preparation.

The second session focuses on applying the skills learned in the first session to the witness preparation process. In addition, specific "forms" — formats of how to think through questions and respond — for deposition and trial are provided. Skills for troubleshooting expert witnesses are explored, the individual preparation demeanor of attending attorneys is critiqued and improved, as time permits, and finally, attendees' questions about specific witnesses they are dealing with are answered and solutions are offered.
