LEO: Multiple Clients - Non-Partisan Advice  LE Op. 492

Multiple Clients - Non-Partisan Advice.

March 3, 1982

It is not improper for an attorney to render non-partisan advice to a

husband and wife about child support, if the attorney is not negotiating

the matter; if the attorney is simply memorializing the agreement already

reached by the husband and wife, the attorney may draft a child support

agreement after having received consent given after full disclosure. [
