What Is a Webcast?

A Webcast is a live Internet broadcast, with audio and video streaming of a seminar from which you may receive MCLE credit. You can participate in the program from the comfort of your home or office, without having to travel to a seminar site. You will be able to ask questions of the speakers live online.

What Do I Need to Participate in a Webcast Seminar?

• A high-speed Internet connection;
• A recent version of Acrobat Reader, available for download free from Adobe;
• A sound card and speakers;
• A Web browser;
• A credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or American Express).

(Please note that every person who seeks MCLE credit for a Virginia CLE Webcast seminar must register separately and pay the registration fee.)

Written Materials

All of Virginia CLE's Webcast seminars include written materials. The written materials are available for viewing online during the seminar, or, if you prefer, you can download them and print them before participating in the seminar.

Questions

During the seminar, attendees may submit questions to the speakers via the Internet, and the speakers will answer the questions during their presentation.

How to Register

To register for a Webcast, go to our Online Seminars site. If you have not used this site before, Register and then go to the View Courses listing. Under Practice Areas, select Webcasts. Find the Webcast seminar you want to attend and purchase that Webcast. Registration must take place at least two hours prior to the Webcast seminar.

You will receive an e-mail notification upon initial registration for the Webcast. Follow the instructions provided in the e-mail to participate in the Webcast.
