A Webcast is a live Internet broadcast of both audio and video. You can participate in the program and receive MCLE credit in the comfort of your home or office, without having to travel to a seminar site. You will be able to ask questions of the speakers live online.
 ALL Virginia CLE® Webcasts carry Interactive MCLE credit.

Registration for webcasts must be completed online. Webcast registration closes at midnight the day preceding the seminar.
How do I view a Webcast I have purchased? Webcast purchasers will receive an email with instructions, either the day before or the morning of the Webcast. The email will include a link to access the Webcast. If you do not receive the instruction email at least 2 hours before the Webcast, please call 800-979-8253 or email distance_ed@vacle.org. Mac and PC Users: Please make sure you have Adobe® Flash® Player installed. You may download Adobe® Flash® Player here. NOTE: Please un-check the box that offers you the free McAfee Security Scan Plus before clicking the DOWNLOAD NOW button. iPad and Android Users: Please download the Adobe® Connect app from either the iOS App Store or the Google Play Market. Please note that a strong wi-fi signal is required to view a Webcast on a mobile device. If necessary, you may find instructions for disabling the Google Toolbar Popup Blocker here. What Do I Need to Participate in a Webcast Seminar?
iPad and Android Users: Please download the Adobe® Connect app from either the iOS App Store or the Google Play Market. Please note that a strong wi-fi signal is required to view a Webcast on a mobile device. Please also note that every person who seeks MCLE credit for a Virginia CLE® Webcast seminar must register separately and pay the registration fee. How do I access Written Materials for the Webcast? You will receive an email at least two hours before the Webcast with a link to download the written materials and join the Webcast. If you do not receive this instruction email at least 2 hours before the Webcast, please call 800-979-8253 or email distance_ed@vacle.org. May I ask questions of the speakers? Yes -- during the seminar, attendees may submit questions to the speakers via the chat room for the Webcast. The speakers will read out and answer the questions during their presentation. How do I purchase a Live Webcast? Please note: Purchase must take place by 5:00pm ET the day prior to the Webcast seminar.

- Click the Webcasts button at the top.
- Click the link at the top that says "Go to list of Webcast seminars".
- Find the Webcast seminar you want to attend, select the correct date and click the Add To Cart button.
- You will receive an instruction e-mail at least two hours before the Webcast with links to join the Webcast and download the written materials. If you do not receive this instruction email at least 2 hours before the Webcast, please call 800-979-8253 or email distance_ed@vacle.org.
What is the cancellation/refund policy? Webcast refunds are given up until 5:00pm the day BEFORE a Webcast. You will be charged $40 if you cancel your Webcast registration (for non-technical reasons) after receiving instruction email. Full refunds and course transfers are given for up to two days after a Webcast to those who experience technical difficulties accessing a Webcast. |
