Cosponsored with the Military Law Section of the Virginia State Bar

With the relatively large percentage of current and former military families in Virginia, most practitioners will at some point find themselves confronted by the unique issues associated with military service. Learn from practitioners and agency representatives the unique legal issues necessary to professionally represent current or former servicemembers and family members and avoid the military minefield.

Important Driving Information! Non-military will need to show a driver’s license for entry onto Quantico, and may also need to show registration and proof of insurance. Please note that morning traffic can be fairly backed up coming into the gates off either Exit 148 or 150 (Quantico is using a new system to scan non-military identifications that has been causing backups of up to 30 minutes at the gates). Additionally, traffic is often slowed on base in the mornings due to unit physical fitness training. Be very careful with the speed limits on base – they are slow and strictly enforced. Please allot plenty of extra time that morning.

Free parking is available directly across from the Gray Research Center. For a map of Marine Corps Base Quantico, with the Gray Research Center marked, please go to: http://www.vacle.org/images/QuanticoMap.jpg. The seminar location is also within walking distance of the Quantico Amtrak station.
