This unique program, for litigators and transactional attorneys alike, draws upon the interdisciplinary “tricks of the trade” of those in the business of persuasion—specifically filmmakers, songwriters, and sales and marketing professionals—to help you maximize your impact and hopefully your success in the courtroom, the boardroom, or the conference room.

Moving stories are not told by accident. They are not haphazard collections of words strung together with no rhyme or reason. It is the same with impactful presentations. The people we are trying to appeal to—jurors, clients, lawyers, and judge—all go to the movies, enjoy music, and are sold to every day. The very best of the media that surrounds us is created by experts who make their living moving us to suspend disbelief, to shed tears over something we know is not real, and to buy things we never thought of purchasing before. This program helps uncover a variety of special and carefully designed tools used by these masters, and applies them to what lawyers do.

This is a nuts and bolts, practical program taught by an experienced attorney and goes to the heart of the presentations we make, the cases we try, the clients we counsel. You will be given the tools to quickly and effectively build your presentation and trial strategies with a blend of interdisciplinary skills to help you maximize your impact and your results.
