Robert S. Bozarth, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company / Richmond
Robert Bozarth is Senior Staff Underwriting Counsel for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company and a graduate of the University of Virginia Law School. He is a member of the American Land Title Association’s Title Insurance Forms Committee, a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and American College of Mortgage Attorneys. He has participated as an observer and enactment committee member for the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws.

James P. Cox, III, is a member of the firm of MichieHamlett. He has practiced with the firm since September, 1983. His areas of practice include estate planning and administration, real estate, and litigation and court proceedings relating to estate and real estate matters. Kay M. Creasman, Old Republic National Title Company, Richmond
Kay Creasman is Associate Counsel in Virginia for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. Working for Old Republic allows her to work with title and settlement agents to find practical answers to questions, to find reasonable ways to insure problems that might otherwise prevent timely settlement.
She received a J.D. from the University of Richmond, a M.Ed. from Tulane University, and a B.S. from Athens College. Kay has, at various times since 1976, maintained a private law practice in the Richmond area focusing on real estate, small business matters, and wills; owned and operated a high volume title insurance and non-attorney settlement agency; been employed by other national underwriters as counsel in Virginia and West Virginia; searched title in the record rooms; and spoken at numerous seminars on real estate and title insurance.
Otto W. Konrad, Kaufman & Canoles, P.C / Richmond
Otto Konrad is a partner in the Richmond Office of Kaufman & Canoles, P.C. His practice focuses on commercial real estate, with an emphasis on representation of petroleum refiners, distributors, jobbers and retailers, and lender and borrower side commercial lending, including commercial business loans, asset based lending, letter of credits, bond financings and commercial real estate secured lending. Mr. Mercer is a founding partner of MercerTrigiani, a law firm in Alexandria, Virginia providing representation to community associations. He was previously a partner in the Tysons Corner office of Troutman Sanders LLP, where he served as managing attorney from 1997 - 1998. Mr. Mercer has been practicing real estate law for more than 40 years. His practice is concentrated on the representation of common interest community associations. He was active in the drafting of the Virginia Condominium Act and the Virginia Property Owner’s Association Act. He served as a member of the Virginia Real Estate Board’s Condominium Advisory Committee and on the Virginia Housing Study Commission’s special subcommittee to study the Virginia Condominium Act. Kevin T. Pogoda, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company / Manassas
Born in Santa Monica, California, Kevin Pogoda grew up in Southern California. A graduate from the University of California at Berkeley with degrees in Rhetoric (honors) and Legal Studies (high honors), Kevin completed his law school education at the Santa Clara University School of Law in 1994. After law school, Mr. Pogoda worked in several firms located in New Jersey, Virginia and the District of Columbia. While in private practice, Mr. Pogoda’s experience included SEC compliance, Indian gaming law, commercial litigation, labor and employment law, and not-for profit litigation. Mr. Pogoda has passed the bar exams for California, New Jersey, Virginia and Maryland. In 1998, Mr. Pogoda began his career as a settlement attorney at a prominent settlement company located in Annandale, Virginia. While in that position, Mr. Pogoda performed approximately 3,000 settlements and focused on 1031 Exchanges and resolving title issues. Mr. Pogoda joined Old Republic National Title Insurance Company in May 2006 and now serves as Vice President and Virginia State Manager, Northern Division. In his capacity as Virginia State Manager, Mr. Pogoda regularly speaks as an instructor before various groups, including attorneys, realtors and title/settlement agents. He is also a recurring contributor to The Examiner, a quarterly publication produced by the Virginia Land Title Association.
Lucia Anna Trigiani, MercerTrigiani / Alexandria
Lucia Anna (Pia) Trigiani is a founding partner of MercerTrigiani in Alexandria, Virginia. Prior to entering private practice in 1987, Pia was the property registration administrator for the Virginia Real Estate Board. Pia served on the Virginia Real Estate Board from 1992 to 1996 and on the Virginia Board of Health Professions from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, she was appointed by Virginia Governor Timothy M. Kaine to serve on the newly established Common Interest Community Board. She was elected the first Chair of the Board in 2008. In 2011, Governor Robert F. McDonnell reappointed her to the Board and she continues to serve as Board Chair. In 2006, Pia was elected to the Board of Governors of The Virginia Bar Association. She served as Chair of the Board in 2009, President-Elect in 2010 and President in 2011. She was named to the Board of the Virginia Law Foundation in 2012. Chief Justice Cynthia F. Kinser appointed Pia to the Judicial Council in 2012. She is also a member of the Boyd Graves Conference. Pia was President of the Washington Metropolitan Chapter of Community Associations Institute (“CAI”) in 2000. She has received several awards from the Chapter: President’s Award in 199, 2002 and 2013; Educator of the Year Award in 1996, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2008 and 2009; a Chapter Appreciation Award in 2009; the first Public Advocate Award in 1998; and, the first Distinguished Service Award in 2000. In 2001, Pia was named to the Chapter Hall of Fame. In 2009, CAI National awarded her the Distinguished Service Award and in 2010, the Institute again honored her with the Excellence in Designations Award. In 2013, she was awarded the President’s Award. And, Pia is a charter fellow of CAI’s College of Community Association Lawyers. Pia has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America in Real Estate Law for 2006 to 2013. Lisa Tully, Fidelity National Title Group, Inc / Richmond
Lisa Tully is Vice President – Underwriting Counsel for the Fidelity National Title Group of underwriters, which include Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, Chicago Title Insurance Company and Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company. She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Richmond in 1982 and a Juris Doctor from its law school in 1985. Lisa began her career in the title insurance industry in 1987 with Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation prior to its merger with Fidelity National. She is currently underwriting counsel for the company’s Virginia operations. In this capacity she provides legal advice to employees regarding underwriting, title examination and commercial transactions; and handles complex underwriting issues for agents and their customers. She is also assistant state counsel for the Fidelity National companies in Virginia, handling claims, regulatory and insurance compliance issues. Lisa speaks regularly to title insurance industry groups, agents, lending organizations and real estate attorneys on real property title and regulatory issues. She is a member of the Virginia Bar Association, the Richmond Bar Association and the Virginia Land Title Association.
