There are an ever-changing group of cases that you, as a Virginia-licensed real estate practitioner, need to have in your mental toolbox in order to address clients’ real estate issues in a succinct and effective manner.

Otto Konrad, a partner with the law firm of Kaufman and Canoles and a twenty-two-year Virginia-licensed real estate practitioner, will walk you through the facts, issues, and holdings of twenty cases that every Virginia real estate lawyer should know, all in an entertaining and lively presentation. In discussing the cases, Mr. Konrad will discuss the implications of the subject cases and how to best utilize them to argue and advance your clients’ goals both in court and at the negotiation table.

Case topics will include landlord-tenant law, zoning, contract enforcement, property owner association law, easements, and restrictive covenants.
