    Conflict of Interest — Representation of Client Adverse to Former Client.

    It is not improper for an attorney to represent a plaintiff against a defendant who was a former client if the matters are not the same or substantially related to the earlier representation and no confidences or secrets were earned in the prior representation which could be used to the advantage of the former client.
