Domestic Relations — Conflict of Interest.
August 1, 1987
It is not improper for an attorney to obtain the endorsement of a consent order by an unrepresented defendant in a divorce matter as long as the attorney advises the unrepresented client that the attorney is not disinterested; does represent the interests of his clients which may or may not be adverse to the interests of the unrepresented party and advises the unrepresented defendant to secure counsel.
