LEO: Confidential Information — Representation LE Op. 580

Confidential Information — Representation Adverse to Former Client.

    May 31, 1984

It is not improper to represent a former employee of a corporation in a personal injury claim against a third party, even though the attorney regularly represents the corporation and the former employee professes to have a claim against the corporation for a breach of an employee agreement. It would be improper to represent the corporation in defense of the employment agreement dispute. [DR:4-101(B); LE Op. 371]
