Videos on CD-ROM for New Lawyers
>> What are Videos on CD-ROM?
Divorce, Foreclosure and Bankruptcy (6.0 credits, including 2.0 Ethics)
Cosponsored with the Virginia State Bar Bankruptcy Law Section, this program reaches across practice areas to highlight the untenable relationship between bankruptcy and domestic relations law, real estate law, and criminal law. These difficult circumstances often result in attorneys representing unhappy, unpleasant, or even mentally ill clients. Learn how to ethically and effectively guide your clients through some of the most trying times in their lives, while maintaining your own sanity and professionalism.
2011 Trial Advocacy College Highlights (6.0 credits, including 2.0 Ethics)
This is a unique opportunity to improve your effectiveness as a trial lawyer by hearing all of the main lectures from the 2011 National Trial Advocacy College. The lectures provide a methodology to improve your trial advocacy skills — the strategy of winning. At the outset, Professor Stephen A. Saltzburg provides a cohesive theory of advocacy — the fundamental principles for success. Lectures follow on the five key areas of a trial — openings, direct and cross-examination, closings, and experts — plus a comprehensive examination of ethics in advocacy.
